Abuja Campus Programme The first session began with 19 students and followed the pattern for the programme. The students came from high social standings - pastors, lawyers, businessmen, Chief Executive Officer, journalists, missionaries, business consultants, public sector administrators and head of churches. The students are from four denominations: The Sacred Order of the Cherubim and SEraphim Church, Christ Holy Shurch International, Celestial Church of Christ and the Living Christ Gospel Church. The youngest was 26 years while the oldest was 63. The students are enthusiastic and committed to the studies. Class are lively with a lot of interaction between lecturers and students. On Friday, 5th June 2009, a student informed the class that he had received a text message that his wife has given birth to a baby boy. Immediately after the announcement the entire class, as if signaled by a music director, simultaneously began chanting: “Call the baby, Good News!!!” That was a demonstration of the impact of the seminary on the students. We praise the Lord for the commencement of the Abuja Campus. May it grow to bear much fruit. The Abuja campus offers a 2-year Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. It consists of four sessions; each session is equivalent to a semester. Classes are held from Monday to Friday; beginning at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m. The First Session has been divided into two fortnights. The second fortnight of the First Session is scheduled to be held in August (10th – 21st) 2009. The courses for the First Session are:
